Frequently asked questions
What people ask the most before creating an account — and after it.
The questions below are grouped by subject: what Streak is and how far it goes, what it costs and where it runs, what happens to your data, and how to reach us when the answer is not here.
The answers are short on purpose. Whenever a subject has a document of its own — privacy, terms of use, editorial policy — the link to it sits right after the groups.
The product
What Streak is, where it runs and how far it goes — including what it deliberately does not do.
What is Streak?
A free workout tracking app built around consistency. You log the day's workout in seconds, your streak stays visible on an attendance calendar, the feed shows what your friends are doing and the monthly ranking sorts whoever trained the most that month.
Which devices does Streak work on?
Any device with an up-to-date browser: phone, tablet or computer. It ships as a Progressive Web App, so installing it means adding a shortcut to your home screen from the browser itself, on iPhone and on Android, and updates arrive without you downloading anything.
Do I need a smartwatch, a heart rate strap or a connected scale?
No, and none of them connect to Streak. There is no integration with watches, straps or your phone's health app: what goes into your history is what you log. A browser is enough.
Does Streak build my workout or correct my form?
No. Streak records what you decided to do: it does not prescribe a programme, suggest loads, assess form or replace a fitness professional. Planning the workout is still up to you or to whoever coaches you.
Price and availability
What using Streak costs, what pays for the blog and who can create an account.
Is Streak free?
Yes: free, no subscription and no credit card. Because it is a Progressive Web App there is no app store purchase either — the install happens straight from your browser.
Is there a paid plan or advertising?
There is no paid plan and no premium tier. Ads run on the blog pages of this website, served by Google AdSense, and that revenue is what keeps the content open and free.
Is there a minimum age to create an account?
Yes, 13. Streak is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from that age group; accounts found in that situation are removed.
Account, data and privacy
What Streak stores, who sees what you log and how you control the website's measurement.
What data does Streak collect?
In the app, what the service needs to work: sign-up details, workout records, the content you publish and your social connections. On the public website, reading the blog or any institutional page asks nothing of you — browsing only generates technical information and aggregated measurement. The full breakdown is in the Privacy Policy.
Who can see my profile and my history?
Only the friends you add in the app see your workouts in the feed and in the ranking. There is no public profile, no discovery of strangers and no reach beyond your own list, and the full history stays yours.
How do I decline analytics and advertising cookies?
In the notice shown on your first visit. Before you choose, only essential cookies load; afterwards you can reopen the preferences from the button available in the Privacy Policy and change your mind whenever you want.
How long do you take to answer a request about my data?
Up to 15 days, the deadline set by Brazilian data protection law, and usually well before that. General support requests are answered within two business days, by the same team that builds the app.
Support and content
Where to reach the team, where to see what changed in the app and what to expect from the blog articles.
How do I reach the Streak team?
By email or through the form inside the app, under Settings and then Support. There is no support phone line: every conversation is written, so both sides keep a record of it. The Contact page lists what to include in your message to settle it in fewer rounds.
Where can I see what changed in the app?
On the What's new page, which lists released features, improvements and fixes in chronological order, from the most recent to the oldest.
Are the blog articles medical advice?
No. The content is informative and does not replace an assessment by a health or fitness professional. How we pick topics, handle sources and keep editorial content separate from advertising is described in the Editorial Policy.
