Find your reason to keep going

Streak adapts to whatever moves you. See how it helps at every stage of your journey.

Not sure which one is yours? Find out in four questions

Two people can open the same app for opposite reasons: one wants to stop starting over every Monday, the other has trained for years and just wants the history in order. The five scenarios below describe the most common ways Streak gets used, and what to do in the first few days in each one.

None of them needs a long setup. In all of them the first step is the same: log today's workout.

You want to build the habit of training every day

Log every workout in seconds and watch your streak grow day after day. Seeing your progress is what turns discipline into habit.

  1. Check in as soon as you finish, while still at the gym: putting it off until the evening is where the record gets lost.
  2. Pick a weekly frequency target instead of a daily one — four days a week holds for months, seven does not.
  3. Look at the frequency calendar at the end of each week to see the real pattern, not the impression you were left with.

You want to put together today's workout with your exercises

Build the workout you are about to do, adding one exercise at a time. That way you record not only that you trained, but what you trained.

  1. Build the session before you start: having the list ready cuts the idle time between exercises.
  2. Reuse the structure of sessions that worked instead of improvising from scratch every time.
  3. Check the history when you want to know how long it has been since you trained a muscle group.

You want the motivation of training with friends

Invite friends, follow their streaks and keep everyone moving together. Training is easier when it is not just you.

  1. Start with two or three people who actually train — a large group turns into noise and stops being followed.
  2. Like the workouts of whoever showed up: it is the cheapest encouragement there is and the one that holds group frequency best.
  3. Agree on a shared monthly target, such as eight workouts each, and follow it in the feed.

You want to compete and climb the ranking

Earn points with every workout and fight for a spot in your group's ranking. An extra push to not skip today's session.

  1. Check the ranking at the start of the week, not every day: daily comparison discourages more than it motivates.
  2. Remember that the ranking measures frequency, not intensity — a short session counts the same.
  3. Use the turn of the month: the scoreboard resets and whoever started late joins the race on equal footing.

You want to see and celebrate your progress

Follow your stats and streaks over time. Every milestone is recorded — and it is easy to look back and see how far you have come.

  1. Take the photo from the same angle and in the same light: that is what makes the comparison useful months later.
  2. Look at the gallery every two or three months, not weekly — the change does not show up in seven days.
  3. Use the total check-in count as a milestone: your first hundred say more about consistency than any number on a scale.

Who Streak works for

It works well if you

  • Train, or want to train, regularly and get stuck on frequency rather than on method.
  • Already have a plan set by you or by a professional and only need to record what you did.
  • Are motivated by seeing your own consistency add up, in a calendar or in numbers.
  • Have a small group of friends who also train and are up for following along.

It is not the right tool if you

  • Are looking for a ready-made training programme with sets, loads and suggested progression.
  • Want to count calories, log meals or track macros.
  • Need heart rate or sleep data, or integration with watches and health apps.
  • Want the reach of an open social network: here the feed is closed among friends.
